OUR VISION
St John’s the Baptist is a friendly, growing evangelical church within the Church of England in Beckenham, bringing all ages together.
As a growing church, we are continuously seeking what the Lord is calling us to. Our vision is rooted in Isaiah 43:7 and Matthew 28: 19-20, to be a people who belong to God, know Him, and make Him known.
We belong to God
We are first and foremost God’s people. Our identity, hope and belonging is in Jesus.
We know God
We want to know God more deeply, growing in relationship with Him through His word, prayer and worship.
We make God known
And then we share the good news of Jesus and His love with others, following His call in Matthew 28 to ‘go and make disciples.’
