We had a wonderful time celebrating
St John’s 90th Birthday!
Our community carnival on Saturday 25th June was a resounding success. We had over 500 people turn up to join in the fun! With a lot of happy furry friends proudly sporting their rosettes from our Scruffs dog show!

St John’s Beckenham celebrates 90 years since it was planted in 1932
On Sunday 26th June we followed our Thanksgiving Service for 90 years of St John’s with a fabulous community BBQ during which we planted three new trees - an Acer Griseum, a Betula Utilis Jacquemontii and a Prunus Serrula ‘Branklyn’ in the grounds of St John’s - each one had its’ own significance - one was to mark the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, one was to mark St John’s 90th Birthday and the final tree was planted for members of the local community
